The honeycomb knitting technique is a variety of brioche stitch that produces attractive fluffy fabrics, suitable for making almost all types of garments and accessories. The name derives from the honeycomb-like design produced by the technique. It is quite simple to work as the process just involves working all the right side rows from the right to left and purling all the wrong side rows. Casting on the right number of stitches (multiple of 4+2) is important as calculations and measurement plays a vital part in producing the honeycomb design. It is a reasonably simple knitting pattern, ideal for intermediate knitters if not for beginners.
